A proposition was submitted to the Turkish Parliament on November 24 to change the cabotage system in the Turkish Civil Aviation Law. If the proposition is accepted in its current state, Turkish airlines will have permission to utilize leased foreign registered aircraft for domestic passenger and cargo operation travel, according to conditions set by SGHM (Civil Aviation General Directorate) at a later date.
